I was lucky enough to get a place on the world famous Otter Trail in October 2016. It was my fourth time on the trail, but one never tires of its beauty. This sketch was done at the second hut. After a dip in the icy river I felt I had just enough energy to do a sketch. It was a beautiful afternoon and later there was a glorious sunset. We made a braai and sat outside by the fire. We had the honour of a visit by a spotted genet cat who was very interested in our meat!
